WATTx is looking for a Captain of Trajectory who will lead the research and prototyping development of one of our most promising projects in IoT in shipping. Our current research efforts are focused on solving the lack of transparency throughout the whole container transport value chain. There is on average 18 different stakeholders operating in one container transport chain and with intermodal transport on the rise there is an increasing demand of transparency among stakeholders and along the value chain.
We are currently carrying out thorough research and interviews with maritime experts, all agreeing on the need for a solution. The overall goal is to build a scalable product for one of the biggest, most untapped opportunities in the shipping and transport industry today.
We want to hear from you so you can start your mission as soon as possible.
WATTx is a new kind of company builder focused on creating deep technologies in the industrial and consumer Internet of things. We are a full-time, full-stack team: hardware and software engineers, data scientists, user experience researchers and designers, venture developers, and strategists. Our cross-functional project teams take a user-centric approach to identifying opportunity areas in particular research areas that inform ideation sessions. Solutions that evolve from these sessions are quickly prototyped and vetted as pilots with clients, investors, and potential partners. Dedicated to lean development and a sprint spirit, we expect research kick-off to venture spin-out to take a matter of a few months.
WATTx is a new kind of company builder. What sets us apart? Our focus on creating deep technologies in the world of the industrial and consumer IoT; hardware and software prototyping; and our rigorous process for moving informed research into validated ideas, and taking concepts from prototype, to pilot, to company formation in only a few months. This way, we ensure that only the most robust ideas become successful ventures. As we mature, we continue to cross-leverage our knowledge and technologies in our portfolio for future prototyping.
